Crunch time is drawing closer and closer. While Ms. Leshell was talking to us about what’s happening next week, I had an epiphany for another app. Not gonna say anything about it right now but it could go far. Today was the first time I started and finished a tutorial in the class period. I’ll probably finish a few more tonight, and work on my new idea as opposed to the old one.

Today’s class was kind of chill. A quick announcement recap before returning to app inventor. I worked on another tutorial. I think it’s the one Hamza showed us he did a while back, called NoTextWhileDriving. It was a bit easier than the Mole Mash one I was working on. In class I couldn’t get it to work through the emulator, and we believe it’s because of the internet connection. That makes two in a row that’ve been ‘almost’ done in class.
…that I’m not going to blog about. But seriously, today Ms. Leshell gave quite a few announcements about the lab. She also stressed how little we were getting done and how much it worried her. Most of us have had some part in us being behind, including myself. After the announcements we picked up on the tutorials we were supposed to do a while back. I thought I had finished one but it turns out that I may have skipped a very important step in the tutorial, programming the app to appear. So close right?

Today’s class
Today was pretty chill because Ms. Leshell was running very late. For most of the class we kind of just talked and joked. After Ms. Leshell got there the class was split into teams. It was hilarious to hear all the captains say “We want Hamza!” In the end he ended up on Sierra’s team along with Kweku, Matthew, and myself. After the teams were decided, we all got our class shirts and took a group picture. We also learned the Hamza is a master of the rubix cube. You learn new things about people everyday.
Wow, we had a decent number of students in class today. It wasn’t like Tuesday’s class. Today I decided which app to make, but it may take a while. There’s still a few things I’ve got to figure out but all in all, when it’s finished it should make a pretty good app. Blogging’s nice and all but I think I should go get started.
